Any idea what type of algae is this on the snail? Gha?
My levels have been consistent for like 2 years (nitrates 25ppm and po4 like 0.1ppm) and never had any algae issues in display as I have an algae scrubber in the sump.

Lmk what you think.

Thanks

Looks like GHA to me. I'd remove as much as possible by hand & watch nutrient levels. Best of luck :)

Agree on hair algae and best extraction is pulling as much as you can by hand, reduce white light intensity or hours of white light.
ADD following snails and cleaners to finish the cleanup:
Turbo
astrea
nerite
cerith
Ninja star

Pencil urchis
8-10 carribean blue leg hermits

- Is tank at or near a window?
-Are you using RODI water or tap water from the faucet ?

Yes using rodi all my life. Phosphate went up for like 7 days or so from 0.1 to 0.25 then tamed it down with gfo. Lot of algae on hidden parts of the tank with no lights.
I had a very small nem that died/disappeared a few weeks back, not sure if that can cause that algae bloom.
I have snails but not eating it, even tangs that I am curing back on feeding are not touching it.
