Have this algae and dont know what it is. Long strands, no bubbles. Tank is 16 months old approx. Rock is real reef rock. My po4 bottomed out to 0 -have been dosing. Nitrate around 12. Algae was initially on one rock but found some now on a hammer and my wavemakers. Going to manually remove as much as I can today.

Pics a little fuzzy but may be calothrix which is a form of cyano
Best removal is to remove rock and place in a container of tank water and scrub with a firm toothbrush or automotive detail brush and return to tank
Reduce white light intensity and add snails such as:
Chiton
Margarita
Astrea
Trochus
Ninja star

Thankyou. I did that today-cleaned it with a toothbrush. Scrubbed off easily. Will reduce the white light. Appreciate the info
