Algae in my freshly moved tank

Hello, I about 1.5 weeks ago I bought a 140 gallon tank as a upgrade from my 2 year old 20 gal cube it was set up for 9 months and the rock cycled for 3 months prior I got coral and fish the corals are mushrooms, zoas, monti, acro(died after transport expected) and the fish are disjardini tang, white tail tang, tailspin blenny, diamond goby they are all eating well but I just experience a big algae spike recovered the glass in a day I tested before it was 0.11 phosphate so I dosed Red Sea algae management after 2 days it’s gotten worse tested today 0.07 phosphate and 0.31algae probobly eating it up any tips because algae took over really bad on my last tank and I don’t want that to happen again.

So you set up a large tank with some rock from your nano tank? How long has the large tank been running? Was it properly cycled? If so what are your complete parameters and pictures of the algae under white lights. Tanks will go through various ugly algae phases during the first year.

Oh I think I understand it better now. You moved the large tank without a complete break down. Fish, rocks and corals in totes probably and now you have it set up for 10 days at your house?

I'm sure you lost bacteria in the move and maybe even had a mini cycle at start up. I would dose some good bacteria like PNS probio. Cut lights to 6 hours with blue and uv only. Manually siphon or remove what you can. Get a diverse cleaner crew.

It was a year old when I bought it it was cycled properly and it has the old rock from his tank along with bio media and my biomedia we changed the sand to avoid a nutrient spike I can’t imagine the amount it would be if I used the same sand parameters currently

I had media from my old tank but both the rock from him and mine were not heated for a day and a half they were in water though is aqua forest pro bio s good and how much should I add?
