I have a 150 gallon container for my RO/DI and a 65g for mixing. I noticed Algae in my batch I just made, so I checked the 150 container and sure enough green algae at the bottom.

Will this cause any harm? How do I prevent algae from growing in there? Do I dump all that water? I didn't check the TDS in it as yet. Over the last month or so I notice my corals wasn't opening as much and my alK was through the roof. I thought was because of bad salt cause the bag was yellow when it arrived. Was this the culprit.

FYI- My containers are outdoor in the sun. I live in South Fl
