I dont have algae growing in display tank but i do in overflow inlets? Its not hair algae bit more like a turf. Is this ok or typical? It is a rr tank. I can clean it but week later its back. Also worried that cleaning it will make it fall to bottom of overflow column. Any advice?

Because the lights are so close and its a highly oxygenated area kinda like how algae scrubbers work so well.

Im going to find something to cover it because my actinics are above it. Is it at all benefical growing there?
