Hello, Taylor Does it blow right off or seem like it has roots maybe ?
I'm not the algae expert but they will want a lot of info. Tank age, parameters , lighting, cleanup crew etc.

Yup. ^^^. Those details will help along with age and any thug your dosing and feeding

Yup^^^ amount of water flow as well. Looks like cyno, but need a bit more info.
Oh and welcome to R2R!!!

Its cyno and hair algae it seems.
A few factors: are you using RO water?
Is tank at or near a window?
Lastly, what food do you feed and how often?

Oh and what lights are you using and how many hours per day?
