I finally got rid of my cyano problem in my 29G Biocube by doing a light Chemiclean treatment followed by an approx 25% water change.

Now I'm getting an outbreak of hair algae and what appears as some kind of green slime type algae. Looks like dino or calothrix as it has trapped bubbles. Also after the Chemiclean a lot of my rock had little white finger like growth.

I also have some other white stuff growing. Is this a sponge or a nuisance algae?

Two month old biocube with 20lbs live rock and 20 lbs live sand. Ph 8.1, ammonia 0, and nitrates 5 or less. I don't have a test for phospates.

The white object is a sponge.
