Everyday I clean Algae off my tank glass this makes my aquarium look dirty and I'm tired of cleaning it. All my levels are ok from my tests. I added some calcium lately and thats it. Any ideas?? Is my tank cycling again? I purchased my 90g tank that had been running for 4yrs. It's been in my house for 2 weeks now.

Thank You,
Adam

You should probably describe the algae a bit. You are going to clean the glass as part of routine maintenance, the timing of which varies by tank. If it makes your tank look dirty, I'm thinking you are having nuisance algae issues caused by high nitrates or phosphates. Do you have test results you could share. Also provide a bit more information about livestock and equipment. Finally, how was the tank moved, I.e. describe the procedure. You are probably having a mini cycle regardless of how it was done -- time and water changes will help with that.

Might just be getting a little high in nitrate, or phosphate. I usually don't trust the "0" levels seen on test kits. How often do you do water changes? Are you running anything to control phospate/nitrate levels? GFO or biopellets or something? You're going to have to clean the glass obviously, but everyday seems a bit heavy to me.
