Hello everyone! My tank has been up for 2.5 months and going strong. However, my tank has had some serious algae issues as of recently that I’ve been working through.
For starters, bryopsis that I brought in on a frag from my old tank and bubble algae that was hiding on some frags I got from WWC (super annoying it came from there, but that’s another story).
Later, 1 month in, some green turf algae started growing. It has now managed to spread onto all three rock structures.
tarting about 3 weeks ago the dinos (stingy, brown with bubbles that are “trapped”) grew in.
Lastly, within the past week, cyano has joined the party.
The dinos have recently turned green, and were that color for about a weeks. But they’re slowly coming back brown.
I have a airstone running just in case the algae is using a lot of H2O. I’ve been treating the green turf algae and bryopsis with Vibrant which has been very effective. But I think by killing the GTA and Bryopsis, it’s letting the dinos grow back.
Any suggestions? Should I dose anything?
I do plan on adding to my CUC. Right now I only have about 6 snails, 2 peppermint shrimps and 1 tiger conch (who likes to eat dinos).

I have a 13W UV on a 75G, and I have an extra 5W UV that I’m considering adding in as well. I’ve been dosing Vibrant since May 23rd and it’s really slowly killing the green turf algae. I really recommend if you’re willing to try
