ALGAE NITRATES & PHOSPHATES CHART

Does anybody have a chart that shows the likelihood of different algaes at different nitrate & phosphate levels
I remember seeing one but I cannot find it for the life of me.

Not sure what type of chart you saw. Nitrate and phosphate levels are not the best predictors of nuisance organism growth. To have predictions down to the type of algae seems unlikely.

Well 0 no3 + 0 po4 = dinos

Po4 + 0 no3 = cyanobacteria

.10ppm po4 and 5ppm no3 or above = hair algae

Po4+no3+silicate= diatoms

Lol jump from what to what? Never had bryopsis. I think it would need to be introduced to get it though. Fluconzole works for that!

Yes they help a ton. Urchins are better they scrape to the rock.

Also iron can boost hair algae like nothing else.
