So I was given a 40gal. Tore down my 24gal nano and put all the fish/rocks into the 40gal.
It's been a few weeks and there is algae growth on the back glass of the tank. Being that it's a reef/fish tank.....there's no way I can get to the back of the tank to scrape the algae off.
What do you guys do? Will my tank look like crap in a couple of weeks? I got a massive skimmer/sump designed for a 100gal tank and I change 10gals of water every week religiously. I also run Chemipure (the new one) and huge pile of chaeto.
Nitrates are about 20ppm. Too high?
