I'm pretty sure it's a mix of GHA and some sort of feathery algae. I'm thinking feather caulerpa. Can I dip in hydrogen peroxide to kill these without harming polyps

Peroxide could damage them. Try if you can to manually remove the pest algae. Brush, forceps......try that first.
