So I have been trying to really gain control of my nutrients in my tank by way of vinegar dosing, phosguard and dosing Brightwell phostphat-e occasionally to keep my po4 down. I have gotten to the point where I don't get green film algae on my glass anymore but now it's more of a brown algae and grows very spotty and kinda shaggy if left for about 5 days. What is it? and why did my tank decide to switch from green film algae to this stuff? Is it an indicator of a different problem?
