Algae on glass :(

So when I test for Nitrates and Phosphates, I get 0.00 every time. I'm using the Hanna Phosphate Checker and the API nitrate kit. Why do I still need to scrape the glass every 2 or 3 days? [emoji52] I stopped using GFO because I read that if you have coral (I have 15 different types from softies to leathers to LPS and SPS), that you don't want to run an ULNS. Please advise. Only thing I can recommend is to lower your photoperiod, or get a astrea snail.
