Hi guys,
I have a fluval 13.5 running fo 4 months already, everything seems fine but I am concerned about this coming up on my glass. Do anyone has an idea if it’s coralline algae or any other algae? How I can fix it?
Thank you!!

simple fix. get you a magnetic glass cleaner, and simply keep up on it. happens to everyone
i have preference tward fluval products. due to the fact the magnets seem to be stronger then most. but also try and kee it away from the sand or you can scratch the inside of the aquarium

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it looks like both film algae and coraline. Both good indicators of a maturing tank. I agree with @fnlyreefready that you'll want to keep up with it. Both get harder to clean off the longer they are allowed to grow on the glass. I personally use the flipper.

Thank you! The ones I have I believe they are cheap or something, I ordered the flipper one :) I hope it works!

Hi there, thank you! I been checking my water parameters and feeding less. I ordered the flipper cleaner to see if it works :D

It’s the beginnings of coralline algae. Pro tip: use an old credit card to scrape it off. Don’t use a metal-bladed scraper or magnet. They can still scratch glass. I know from experience.
I will try it too if with the Flipper magnetic cleaner doesn't work, I love taking pictures of my tank and that appears in my pictures. Thanks!

Yeah, the one thing I can say about the flipper is be carfull to rinse it if you drop it; sand sticks to it very well. otherwise it works out great to be able to turn it to the scrapper side for the tougher algae.

some magnets have pieces on the sides to add scrapers so you can do them both at the same time. These are another nice brand
