Algae on green star polyp

My green star polyp came with a little algae on it and it seems to have grown more on it. Is there a good way to get rid of it?

Depending on the type of algae you could just do a coral dip with something like "Coral Rx". Personally, I would just do a peroxide dip, and if possible change out the frag plug.

Oh wow, blowing it actually worked! I thought the algae was stuck to it like it sticks to glass.
