Algae on hammer

My hammer has some hair algae stuck to it. May be on its stinger but um not sure. Should I try to remove it?

If it is on the skeleton I don’t see a problem, even in the polyp if you can pinch and pull it off gently should not be an issue.

The only problem now is that the hammer is in the corner where my clowns hang out... she's going to bite me lol

Removing hair algae from a tank is always a good idea

Maybe feed on the other side. Tell them if they bite they go in the fryer with chips and hush puppies.

Use the free hand to hold a net by your other hand as it goes in. Thats a guarantee stay away.
