Hello,
I’m fairly novice, and struggle with GHA. I’ve been picking GHA off of this coral for months, and now there’s a green hard algae on it I can’t seem to get off. I was curious if there’s any suggestions? Thank you.

Algae will only grow on coral skeleton, meaning the algae you see is growing over dead parts of the coral. Not sure how you can get it off, though. Maybe with a toothbrush?
I tried a toothbrush.
If it’s growing on dead parts of the coral, is it worth trying to get off? Also, will the coral grow back over it?

Can you take a pic of it in the water, under white lights? Can’t see if there’s any flesh left on it or if it’s completely dead.
