Algae on sand bed?

I have patches of algae growing on the sand bed in my tank. My parameters are in check and I wonder what the issue is? Is a particular fish/invert that takes care of that? My Clean up crew don't seem to be doing the job...

How old is your system? If it’s less than 6 months, my guess is it’s still cycling and you’re still dealing with nuisance algae working itself out of the system.

Technically a few months. I bought it off someone who had it running for a while and did a tank transfer.
