Hi I have been keeping zoanthids in my tank but from time to time purple reddish algae grows on them sometimes I want to scrub the coral to get of all the algae but I don’t want to because of palytoxin any ideas

you can scrub them with a soft bristle toothbrush. Maybe also increase flow in the area to prevent growth in the first place. cleanup crew will also help, I regularly see my ceriths cleaning algae from my corals.

I have a sea urchin and 2 snails

Soft bristle toothbrush, nice and easy then turkey blaster is what I would do. Wouldn't even think of toxins with those and such a small amount. Plus it's mitigated by being underwater. Wash hands real good after and you're all set. Imo, ofc.

Thanks I will definitely try that
