Algae? Or Bacterial

I noticed something growing on my rock scape, and while it doesn't look like diatom / cyno, it is brown and jelly like. Could this be a bacteria bloom? Or is it something else?

I'll set up a microscope later this week, but the slime on his images is different than mine. When I took it out, it was more jelly type, and I don't believe its dinos. No air bubbles and does not retract when light is off, etc. It's isolated to around that spot also.

Someone mentioned to me, it's just a sponge, ugly brown sponge. Any thoughts on that?
