I have one particular rock where a brownish slime grows. My tank is about 10 month old now, and I had this same issue about 3 months ago but it cleared up after a few weeks. Now it has returned. I siphon off the slime daily, but it grows back each day. Here's a video of the slime, followed by a video where I examined it under my microscope at 800x:

Here are my water parameters:

Temp = 78 F
Salinity = 1.026
Alk = 8.6 dKH
Cal = 420 ppm
Mg = 1350 ppm
NO3 = 5 ppm
PO4 = 0.04 ppm

I do automatic water changes daily, adding up to about 10% weekly.

The slime has not shown up anywhere else in my tank, just on this one single rock.

Does this look like dinos?

I don’t think so. No motion in your video. I would expect to see some movement with dinos. I’m interested in hearing other comments.
