Algae or something else?

So I noticed this on my snail's shell earlier today. Is this just some sort of algae? There is also some brown algae on his shell, but no algae any where else in the tank. Is it anything to worry about?

Looks like a type of macro algae
A clean stiff toothbrush should take care of it.
