Can you post pics under white lighting ? Pics very blue.
If truly dino, Not everyone can afford a UV unit or have the room. Another method which works is -
Prepare by starting with a water change and blow this stuff loose with a turkey baster and siphon up loose particles.
Turn lights off (at least white and run blue at 10-15%) for 5 days and at night dose 1ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons for all 5 nights. If you dont have light dependent coral- turn all lights off.
During the day dose 1ml of liquid bacteria (such as bacter 7) per 10 gallons.
Clean filters daily and DO NOT FEED CORAL FOODS OR ADD NOPOX as it is food for dinos.
Day 5,, you can start with blue lights - ramping up and work your white lights up slowly

I've been running my lights at 15% for i'd say a month, I would say the algae on the glass is not dino, I have LC Anphidinium and went with the most talked about method which is dosing SI for a competition for space (and since diatoms are much easier to take care of than dino) I just started to dose SI for about 3-4 days, I also dosed microbacter 7 for about 3 weeks and I feel like it just helped the dino (as it got worse the more i dosed it) giving it more substance to feed on, I also have done a 4 day blackout which didnt work and it just came back (but i did not dose hydrogen peroxide), Yeah im currently on a tight budget with a UV ($100 budget) But UV doesn't work on my type of dino, do you know any way to get a sample of the algae on the glass so i can ID, I currently have no corals at the moment, The only thing im adding to the tank at the moment is Spongeexcel and just fish food, I have my lights on at all blue because my rocks started to have green parts bc of white lights, Ill get a pic with the white lights on, Thank you for the hydrogen peroxide method ill try it out thanks!
