So I have this red velvet fuzz like algae growing on the rocks every where. Also have this green algea thats growing out like a stem and the ends look like palm tree leaves. Is there a fish or something that can take care of this? Thanks

sounds like cyanobacteria for the red velvet. Does it blow off with a power head or a turkey baster ? If so a treatment with chemiclean or red slime remover will wipe it out. Just follow instructions.

Green palm tree sounds like bryopsis, which can be hard to shake.

+1 i would just try to blow the red stuff off and then collect to get out of tank. resort to red slime remover last. try some water changes and better flow.

I have a 90g 48x24x18 with 2 vortech mp40w so i have enough flow for sure but the green and red stuff does not come off with heaviest flow even with a tooth brush and doesnt do much to it this stuff is rough. I tried redslime remover awhile back and it had no effect on it.
