I have a large amount of algae on my substrate and live rock. My cleanup crew isn't doing the trick (4 blue leg hermit crabs, 4 turbo snails, and 2 nassarius snails) I also have hard green algae on the walls of my tank I've heard it's because it was in direct sunlight what can i do?

I think the green in the glass is a corraline. Hard to scrape yes, could be another type too.

Fighting chonchs are a good sand cleaner.

Light from out side , probaly not if it’s short or indirect.

Are you on rodi water ?

Kinda looks like newish tank stuff

The tank had been running for about 6 months. I'm using tap water. My tank didn't look this bad about 3 months ago but I got a new light.

That does happen.

The difficulty with tap. You don’t really know what’s all going in there.

Seachem prime and bottled bacteria. Def try to look at Rodi.
