Algae problem

hey reefers happy reefing. Question I have this algae problem I think I waned to know what this is and what to do to get rid of it.

Siphon hose with a toothbrush attached to the end. Work very, very slowly to maximize the amount of the algae removed goes into the hose not stirred up into the tank. Some will run the siphon hose back into the tank or sump with a filter sock on the end. This way you can clean your tank endlessly instead of draining the tank while siphoning the algae off your rocks.

I would add on check your tank numbers also to see if there is an underlying issue. Also keep an eye on how it reacts after cleaning to make sure it is not more than just basic algae.
 
Maybe cyano or cotton candy algae, just my 2 cents. Only delt with cyano and that’s red, not sure what cotton candy one is but I’ve heard it’s nasty.
