Hey all
I’m having an algae problem I did a 4 gallon water change on my 20 gallon AIO and after about 1 day this algae formed quickly this past week my corals have been slowly closing or retracting besides my Kenya tree, I have a hammer and some zoas how can I fix this.

Would suggest doing more frequent water changes to try and balance out your water, any chance you tested your water so we can see exactly what parameters you have? Also maybe spot feed the corals to make sure they are getting food.
 
Yes I just finished testing

salinity .26
Nitrates 10
Phosphates .25 as api only test I have rn
Calcium is about 500
Alk is 10
 
10% so 2 gal would work. Smaller tank make smaller changes.
Sounds fair I thought it was dinos because I just did a huge cleanup of algae ,sand clean and blowing off rocks, tank was spotless 24 hours later boom Like I never cleaned it
 
so how long does this take to get rid of so I have general understanding. I did a water change 2 days ago and this is what came up
