Algae Question

Good morning Fellow Reefers...
Question: Is it smart/acceptable to utilize an algae fix such as Dr. Tim's Waste Away or Vibrant while also expecting your aquarium CUC to have enough algae to eat? Trying not to starve out my snails, crabs and conchs.

While I have not tried either product I would have a had time believing that those product would eliminate all algae. That being said there is still film algae, detritus, calcifying algae’s that should be sufficient enough to feed CUC.
