My tank is 6 months old but I recently turned on my light. I also used liquid coraline algae a few weeks ago. It looks like I am getting purple coraline algae on my rocks. But I also have this green algae on the back glass. Is this from the Coraline algae I put in the tank or something else? See pics

Try blowing it with a pipette or turkey baster. If it lifts, it might be cyano; if not, you're good. Coralline appeared in some of my tanks around the six-month mark. Coralline typically first appears as something like an ink blot and spreads outwards, as in the bottom pic, but it certainly can appear as other forms of growth.

Scrape off that green algae, or bolster your CUC. Banded trochus snails or a tuxedo urchin should help with that.
