Help everyone,

I have a 60 gallon cube filled with zoas. My tank has been set up for 2 months, I moved my zoas that had all been established in my 180 over to my 60 when I had to move. I recently bought an algae reactor and since I have had it (4 days) I’ve been running it 24/7 with the lights on the reactor on all day. My zoas have since started loosing the colors. But only in a few of the zoas ex.. purple hornets and rastas (both Rasta frags). So my questions are, could the reactor be taking out too many nutrients?? And how would I go about restoring the colors to my zoas as it depresses me to see them in such shape.

You can try reducing the photoperiod to 12hrs or less and see if it does anything. Based on triton tests since adding an algae reactor I notice a few things such as iron, iodine, molybdenum to be at or near zero.
