Algae scrubber Filtration

I have a 75 gallon reef aquarium. I am interested in an Algae Turf Scrubber but don't know which brand and model to choose. I have a sump and would appreciate and the advice. Thanks cwl

i have the Turbo Aquatics scrubber and loves it for ease of maintenance, quality, and adjustability. Not the cheapest, but designed well and built to last.

Yup, I’m a big fan of the Turbo’s Aquatics ATS. Here’s my L2 Rev 4 over my Trigger 26 sump. It’s a very well designed unit with dimmable lights and absolutely zero light bleed.

Here‘s a shot with the endplate off so you can see the the growth chamber inside of the unit.

How did you secure the scrubber to your PVS support stand? I'm looking to buy my first scrubber and looking at Turbos

Just gravity… It sits securely in place between the DIY PVC bracket. The two PVC cross members spanning the sump brace up against the drain and emergency drain couplings and keep it very securely in place.

In fact, the PVC bracket itself isn’t even glued together. It’s press fit and unglued and I have full confidence in its structural integrity with respect to supporting the scrubber in place over the sump.
