Algae scrubber for Evo 13.5?

Hello, are there any reasonably priced algae scrubbers that will work easily with an Evo 13.5?

Also does running a scrubber eliminate the possibility of growing macro algae in the display area?

I can’t speak to a “reasonably priced” scrubber, as I think all the scrubbers I’ve seen cost more than the EVO 13. . .

that said, I would imagine the scrubber would hinder Macro growth in the display tank. At least anecdotally my little sump seems to hinder macroalgae in my display. . . I know they aren’t exactly the same thing, but similar principal so I assume it would yield a similar result. easy growing algae is going to take nutrients away from the display macro

I’m no expert so take all this with a grain of salt, just my thoughts

Yeah I was afraid of that. I'm starting to grow red turf algae and I'm trying to get rid of it without starving out macro but not sure if it can be done
