Was hoping I might be able to get some of your opinions on this growth in my turf scrubber. Seems to be quite a bit of goopy stuff. This is in the back of my biocube and is lit by Santa Monica leds for 16 hours a day. This is about two weeks of growth.

As in 2 weeks of growth from new, or 2 weeks of growth since last cleaning? If new, well, it took mine probably 6 or 8 weeks to get good growth, with slimy growth preceding bright green matts. If just 2 weeks from last cleaning, mine stalls sometimes. Usually means I have low nutrients

2 weeks new. I used to attempt to grow Chaeto in the back chamber, but the small amount of chaeto I had would not grow for the past 8 months. What did grow in the back was hair algae. So I decided to ditch the Chaeto and go with the scrubber. I seeded the screen with a bit of the hair algae that was growing in the chamber.

I guess my concern was more related to the slime as I don't find much of what I'm growing hairy at all lol.

Did you seed the scrubber with ulva?
