Algae scrubber light too strong?

Hello,

I’ve got an Icecap ATS 60w ATS. My growth is good now that I’ve turned up the flow. Unfortunate I have a large area of no growth. Is this caused by a too strong light? How do I fix this if the light is not dimmable.

I believe that is working fine. The algae should fill in as it grows. Watch when he pulls his screens in the video, same pattern.
