Running a Eshopps 200 sump and confused where I'd put a Algae scrubber since it needs to be above the sump to drain any ideas ? Sump is 14x30x16 with 19.5 inches of space from the top lip of the sump to the roof of the cabinet.

Common issues with this type of unit.

Santa Monica filtration has a few different designs. I have the HOG2 (hang on glass) it works great and saves space. They also have a drop model that goes right into the water

Are you using the chamber to the right of your skimmer as a refugium? Do you want to have both a fuge and an algae scrubber?

Are you getting rid of your refugium? No need for fuge and scrubber

Maybe you need to up mechanical filtration and remove detritus. That will also help with those parameters. As well as reevaluating your feeding schedule

Replacdcwith an algae reactor. Have mind in stand next to tank

My IceCap algae scrubber is plumbed so that the feed pump is in the sump and the scrubber sits outside of the sump (above the sump water level).
