Algae Scrubber Size

I just got a Clear Water 100, and although I don't have it setup yet (waiting for new tank) it's really not too big/obtrusive. Size of 2 cigar boxes taped together perhaps.

Iv'e been looking at them but the dang length is over a foot long. It has to go in here. I could loose one of the ato reservoirs. Any suggestions. I dislike the maintenance of the Skimz. I have remove it as of today.

Gary, for your 75g, you would need our CW-50. That’s the smallest footprint we make.

Any ideas how and where I can install it. Did you see my sump pic? Is it actually 12 1/2 inches wide?

It’s 12 1/2” long. You can get rid of the skimz reactor and it can be mounted length wise there. It’s only 7” wide. You will need to make something for it to sit on tho but it will fit perfectly there.

For one of my scrubbers for a 75g, the L2 would be the size I would recommend. 11" long, 7" tall, 7" wide not including the inlet side plumbing. Only need 2" of clearance above it to get the growth chamber out for maintenance.

This may work.I took the Skimz out and I'm going to move the skimmer forward. I need some sort of bar that will rest on the right side front and back sump glass. Then I can rest a flat piece of something on the left side top glass of the sump and the bar I get. Any suggestion on a bar or flat piece of non rusting safe material? Here is what I mean. Don't laugh please.lol
