Can an Algae Scrubber stripe the water of good nutrients?

What do you mean by good nutrients?

Algae growth in general does take up some types of minor elements that would have to be replaced somehow. As far as I know, and I could be wrong here, it doesn't matter if it's refugium algae or scrubber algae they all use some minor elements from the water that corals would use as well.

Your water changes will replace elements so not an issue.
