Sorry forgot it’s only 5 months old btw if that has anything to do with it. Can’t even see into tank but I can tell all rocks and sand are coated in it

Woah! Are you using rodi water? I’d keep up with cleaning the glass daily and start to manually remove the bulk of it and get some turbo snails..

I get it from my LFS but it I think it’s ROdi, and yes will try and get some snails and will be doing a big clean tommorw

Hmmm… I’d invest in your own rodi unit.. I’ve seen numerous horror stories about lfs water.

I have just been down this road.. and mine was worse. I would start doing large water change and a good cleaning all glass and remove from sand bed and rocks. Then stay on water change every week for next few weeks don't miss it and keep cleaning it down. I also did a black out for 4 days after my 2nd water change. My problem was my rodi was sending about 15tds in the water as the filters was spent. Also get a rodi unit for yourself even if it's just a small unit. It pays for it self. Wish you luck and get on it .. it will get better..
