Hello people I have some brown algae growing all over my tank is this good or bad. its all over my live rock the glass sand. do I have to much light or leaving my lights on to long. have
the tank is just cylcing if you keep up on water changes and cleaning it off it will eventually go away its just a cycle and every tank does that no worries!
I just finished my diatom phase... it was super irritating for about 3 weeks. I just did my first major water change and vacuumed the rocks and it appears to have died down A LOT!
Had the same thing happen to my when I first started out, all I did was clean my tank a little more often, and count down on lighting to a bit, cleared up in about 2 weeks.
