Having hair algae problem please help pH has been fluctuating between 7.9-8.3.. Everything else is within norm.. I have a hang off the back filter by aqueon with double bio wheel.. Please help????

PH isn't your algae problem issue. What is your nitrate and phosphate reading? If they are both 0 and you have algae, I'm thinking you have Bryopsis then.

I have a chocolate chip starfish and a couple days ago I noticed a redish/pink worm thing come out of one of the legs. I managed to scoop it away from the starfish and put it in a container. No one seems to know what it is. Can someone help? Should I be worried about my starfish or my other fish?
Thank you

Most don't test for the proper things in a saltwater tank.
You should be testing for these things, if you are only running a Fish Only Tank
Ammonia
Nitrites
Nitrates
Phosphates
PH
SG
Reef Tank Numbers including the above tests
Calcium
Magnesium
Alkalinity

Heres the scope of what you need for a saltwater tank testing info
