Afternoon people!
I have what I believe is the start of some algae, the tank is coming up to 3 weeks old, all parameters are spot on,
I have reduced my lighting hours to 11am-9pm with the whites not exceeding 50%
The tangs I want have been ordered and should be all being well here on Wednesday
Other than tangs. And water changes I will be buying some rowaphos tomorrow along with a ro unit to start water changes, 1 every 2 weeks
Is there anything else to help prevent this ?

There is nothing I see that requires prevention.
Algae and diatoms are going to happen.
It means your tank can support life.
There is no need to use any chemicals unless you have an issue. Even then most can be traced back to the cause.

Agreed, normal progression. It will continue to grow. Would see about a small CUC once it grows out a bit more. Snails, hermits and a lawnmower blenny do a good job.

Thanks guys, load of my chest there I was thinking I would wake up to a green mas of GHA! I have 5 green legs in there, they seem happy for the extra food!
