algagen pods tisbe

Hello guys, are the alagen tisbe pods good as advertised. I have a hob refugium. How should I add them?

I have always been pretty satisfied with their pods. I float the bag/bottle for a minimum of 15 minutes and add them after lights out (preferably even later once everyone is "sleeping"). I just put them in the tank, refugiums have never really worked out for me.
