So I've had this problem for about a month now. Cleaned most of it out last time I did my water change but it came back pretty quick. I used something called Red slime to try and get it out and it seemed to work a little bit but didn't get it all out. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or know what kind of alge this is?

Also a good CUC for it?

I don't know my water parameters, but if anyone can identify what it is and what would help if appreciate it.

Thanks! I did a little research on it and man was it depressing.. I hope I can get rid of it all my tank has been set up for 5 months now, this is my first problem I've had. I was thinking of manually removing what I can and installing a phosban reactor and UV sterilizer.

How effective do you think that would be?

Ok Ill try that before getting the phosban reactor. Will the 3 day blackout be ok for the corals? And also should I still feed my fish during the blackout
