Hey guys I noticed this copper colored bacteria growing the past couple days and since I noticed it now it's coveting almost 75% of my live rock. Even moved to the sand. Do I have anything to worry about or is this just part of the growth

It is really neat to watch the process of a new tank go through all the phases. Yay for science!

So after some reading it says this was normal but it doesn't say whether or not it will sort it's self out and go away.

i wouldn't worry about it. Gives the system a chance to develop a bit more

Diatoms will come and go in the first year or so. Use RODI water for water changes and fresh water top offs.
