Algea doing my nut!!

Hi everyone, I need a little
Help please, I keep getting algea on my glass every couple of days, I had high phosphate but now at 2+ and 1+ nitrate, I am using nopox also, I have a new light with setting on blue 60 and white 1?any ideas pl? Thanks in advance

If it is a brown dust like algae this can happen in a healthy tank. Some fish actually like to feed on it (my lawnmower blenny loves it). Usually when phosphate gets a little high it can come up and this stuff feeds on light. In my experience if your fish and corals are all doing fine you can wipe it off your glass or leave it and let it run its course. I left mine and it turned into beautiful purple coraline. If the tank is new or fish are being overfed this is very common also. If you hate it being in there try some vibrant (Brs sells it and most likely so does your lfs). This stuff works wonderfully on all algae even cut down my hair algae issue a few years back.
