What type of algea is this and how do I get rid of it. Thanks

That might be bubble algie just growing in an long form instead of a circular bubble I didnt relize it was green thought it was brown and bubble algie pops when pressed dont pop it in tank as it'll spread like fire carefully remove by hand
 
Or as above post stated could be cladophora it does look cool honestly hopfully whatever it is it does not cause a problem bubble algie is normally a bubble but that could be bubble but thats what it looks lkke when reaching for the light but if never seen bubble look like that before
 
The only wat to know for certain is a microscope otherwise its all just a best guess if it continues to grow and the stems have segments of guess cladophora if no segme he and stays as a while id guess bubble that growing elongated for some reason
