Can I get some help with the algea I got. In some of the photos it appears almost like bubble algea but it isn’t. It’s almost cupping or plating like an sps. It’s like mini kelp/turf.

Takes about 3 months old with AI primes running at 60% for 6 hours a day. I bought live rock from gulf rock and Tampa bay saltwater to help with bacteria. Not testing phosphate at the moment as my biggest concern was Dinos, I know it’s high - I only feed LRS. Do 15% weekly water changes and change filter floss once to twice a week.

The algae appears to belong to the family Ulvaceae (one similar looking species in this family is the sea lettuce Ulva californica, which has a cup-shaped thallus). Ulva thrives in nutrient rich water, grows quickly (so it is popular in refugiums), and is nutritious for herbivores.
