Algea on Coral Frags

My son and I recently purchased about 2 dozen different kinds of frags, I have had them in my QT tank for over 2 weeks now. They are doing great but hair algea has started to grow on them. Will dipping them before I put them in my regular frag tank get rid of the algea?

Dipping the frag plugs in 3% peroxide will.

Do you use salt water from your tank?

No 100% peroxide for 4 minutes will kill all the algae

Okay then do you rinse them?

It is not totally necessary but a good idea. Be careful with SPS frags. The pure H2O2 will kill them quick.
