so i have algea on just about everything i can get it off the glass pretty much with the glass magnet, but having so much on the sand and rocks is bothering me alittle i dont mind some but its too much, would adding a protein skimmer to get soem nutrients out help? and on a side note is there any way to glue frags to the rocks while they are underwater because my hermit keeps knocking it over. thanks

If you are running a reef tank you should have a properly sized protein skimmer.
If you don't already, start doing 20% water changes weekly with 0TDS RO/DI water to help bring nutrients down.
Yes you can glue underwater but it is tricky because the glue (superglue) forms a skin underwater and if there is already algea (Coraline or other) it will bond to that kill it and the frag will fall in a couple of days. Your best bet is use a marine tank safe underwater epoxy and make sure you push it well into the rock and wrap it around the frag plug if possible.

I seen my friend use guerilla glue on his corals. He takes the coral out of the tank and glue it in a smaller container and wait till it bonds then he puts it back in the tank.

Agree with the skimmer and lower the light hours a bit. Until you have it under control.
